In this talk, Annefleur Schipper (@affietoday) and Vera Siemons (@verasiemons) from the podcast 'de Lesbian Liga' will take you through the history of queer pop culture in an hour's time. With their sharp anecdotes and dry humour, they shine a light on queer representation in all kinds of media. Why are so many lesbian movies costume dramas set in the countryside in the 19th century? And why do so many queer characters die at the end? That has to change. But how? LET'S GO LESBIANS!
